How to maintain the Philips EP5544/80

Maintaining the Philips EP5544/80 is particularly easy, and the machine guides you step by step through the cleaning process.

• As with all Philips machines, the brew group is removable: it is recommended to remove it once a week to rinse it with warm water to eliminate coffee oil and grounds residue. Monthly cleaning with detergent tablets is also advised. Cleaning and descaling cycles are automatically recorded: you simply need to follow the instructions displayed when the machine prompts you. The machine is compatible with the AquaClean filter , which effectively reduces limescale and extends descaling intervals up to 5,000 cycles . One filter cartridge is included with the espresso machine.
